As 2025 draws to a close, MASO continues laying the groundwork for a strong year ahead. Planning is well underway for the 2026 Professional Development Conference, with efforts focused on securing guest speakers and confirming a location in Bozeman. Kassidy has also been working closely with a dedicated committee to retool the Young Artists Competition, ensuring its continued impact for young musicians across the state. In November, MASO’s Executive Directors and the Marketing & Development cohorts had their fourth-quarter meetings, creating space for shared problem-solving and idea exchange. The MASO Board met on November 20 and welcomed a new member: Ben Phinney, Chair Emeritus of the Bozeman Symphony Board of Directors. We’re grateful for his experience and excited to have him on board!
