This month, MASO continued statewide collaboration, planning, and partnership development. Kassidy visited the Missoula Symphony, performing in their Broadway From Stage to Screen concert and connecting with staff. MASO librarians from across the state also met to discuss the ongoing needs of the statewide music library, led by Lisa Bollman. At our recent board meeting, updates were shared on the continued progress of both the Professional Development Conference and the Montana Symphony Summit. We’re also excited to share that MASO received grants from the Bastian Foundation and the Susan Scott Heyneman Foundation in support of the Summit. As conference planning enters its final stages, we’re thrilled to welcome Michael Sakir with Opera Montana as an additional speaker while continuing early planning for the inaugural Montana Symphony Summit.
