February was full of forward momentum for MASO. Preparations for In Practice are moving steadily ahead! The Music Director Cohort gathered for a virtual meeting, and the Young Artists Competition committee met to continue shaping the future of the program. Kassidy also had the pleasure of attending the Billings Symphony’s January performance featuring Josephine Grayl, Junior Division Winner of the 2025 Young Artists Competition, who gave a stunning rendition of the Bottesini Double Bass Concerto No. 2, mvt 1. Her performance was a powerful reminder of MASO’s impact in uplifting young Montana musicians.
