On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the Billings Symphony would like to bring the stage into your home with a special broadcast of the Billings Symphony’s holiday concert A Christmas Carol.
Charles Dickens’ endearing tale of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey to redemption is one holiday classic that never gets old. With the help of Guest Conductor James Lowe and local actor Dan Nickerson reprising his 2017 role as the Narrator, in which he plays 16 different characters, the story will jump off the page—or out of the screen— and come to life right in front of you. Add the magical sounds of the symphony, and this concert is sure to brighten even the scroogiest family members.
This broadcast is a part of our 75th Anniversary Season and our Explore Music! education and community engagement programs, a gift from us to you to reach more communities during this holiday season. Our mission, to enrich all lives through music, is what drives us to introduce thousands of people throughout south-central and eastern Montana and northeastern Wyoming to music at no cost.
