In January we were thrilled to host the 18th Biennial Young Artists Competition. Pictured above are our esteemed adjudicators (Miranda Wilson, Susan Makeever, and Gordon Johnson), board member Lowell Stuck, executive director Kassidy Conlon, and guests at a celebratory dinner at Revelry in Bozeman the night before the competition. The day of the competition went smoothly and we are excited for our three winners: Josephine Grayl (Junior Division – bass – Bozeman), Charlie Snellman (Senior Division – cello – Helena), and Felix Guggenheim (Collegiate Division – violin – Bozeman). Josephine’s performance with the Billings Symphony is set for January 2026, and Felix and Charlie’s performance dates are being finalized. Stay tuned!

At the end of the month, Kassidy had the opportunity to attend the Nonprofit Day at the Capitol, hosted by the Montana Nonprofit Association. Arts organizations from Montana were well-represented, including the Bozeman Symphony, Montana Chamber Music, and the Montana Ballet Company, in addition to MASO. It was a great day of learning, networking, and connecting with legislators.
