MASO’s work this month reflected strong momentum across governance, partnerships, and program development. At our April 7 board meeting, we approved updates to the organization’s bylaws, welcomed D.A. Davidson as the first sponsor of the Montana Symphony Summit, and confirmed that the inaugural Summit will be held in Butte at the Mother Lode Theatre. The board also engaged in continued preparations for the upcoming Professional Development Conference. Kassidy visited the Butte Symphony, joining the cello section for their April concert, and connected with colleagues from the Association of California Symphony Orchestras to share ideas and strengthen relationships beyond the region.
