In May, MASO remained hard at work behind the scenes. We submitted several grant applications in support of our statewide programs and gathered for our spring board meeting, where we approved the budget for the upcoming fiscal year and welcomed Tony Wise, Executive Director of the Glacier Symphony, to the MASO Board of Directors. Executive Director Kassidy Conlon visited the Helena Symphony and performed in their season finale concert, and also attended the Montana Youth Symphony’s chamber music tour event in Billings – an inspiring showcase of Montana’s young talent. Kassidy continued work on next year’s master calendar to coordinate statewide activities, while Lisa kept the symphonic library humming by fulfilling repertoire requests for next season.
